During his tenure as an associate engineer at CDM Smith India Private Limited, Praveen worked on a £3.4 million project for the Urban Development and Housing Department of the Government of India. He contributed to the design and analysis of cantilever retaining walls, plum concrete, and gabion walls for landfill sites in a solid waste management project, as well as Ground Level Service Reservoirs for water supply projects, utilizing Etabs and SAP 2000. His responsibilities included creating layout drawings and specifications with AutoCAD, overseeing on-site quality control and assurance, preparing bills of quantities and bar bending schedules, managing manpower and the site, reviewing environmental management plans, and compiling monthly progress reports. He also coordinated designs with clients, consultants, and specialist subcontractors.
